How did I get here?  How did I become an intuitive, healer, and life coach?

I didn’t plan to do this kind of work… but here I am.  Life takes funny turns... and I’ve never fought where it takes me.  But along the way, I’ve discovered what is really meaningful to me… that giving is receiving.

It’s because of people like Alex that I do this kind of work…

It was worse than ever.  He couldn’t even walk because of the pain.  His skin was badly burnt… everywhere. And that made the itching, cracking, bleeding skin even worse.

Alex’s doctor had recommended using a tanning bed to help his eczema.  And now he was in agony. He had tried everything to cure it. But everything the doctors had tried had only made life a living hell for him.

But when we did a Sakaso session, his skin was able to heal more in one night than should be physically possible. The next day, his skin was the best it had been in years! He couldn’t believe it.

And it’s also because of people like my husband Paul…

After meeting the love of my life (and yes, I knew instantly!), we moved in together.  But it wasn’t long before life hit us with a pretty big surprise.

All of sudden, Paul got sick... really sick.  It started in his ankles and every day, it spread to more and more of his body… excruciating pain, semi-paralysis, and painful lumps.  He could barely move.

I had to quit my job and university coursework to look after him. 

The doctors were no help… they didn’t even know why he was sick.

So we applied every natural healing technique we could.  Somehow, it was clear to me that it was all about healing the emotional pain, stress, and trauma he carried since he was a child… from the abuse he went through.

Gratitude, forgiveness, self-love, mindfulness, meditation… you name it, we used it.  And no matter how bad his illness was, Paul and I always stayed positive. Even when we weren’t sure he would make it.

Then something amazing and beautiful happened… on Christmas Eve, all on his own, he slowly made it all the way into the kitchen to have breakfast with the kids and I. 

The doctors finally figured out that it was sarcoidosis but what they couldn’t explain was how he recovered so fast.  With acute onset sarcoidosis, recovery isn’t a given and it isn’t supposed to work that way.

What they didn’t know is that the trauma, stress, anxiety, and PTSD he was carrying was the cause.

He had been in “protection” mode most of his life so his body couldn’t heal.  And finally, it wore him down enough that his genes were switched into an unhealthy state and that activated the sarcoidosis.

And the doctors also didn’t know that by removing those subconscious barriers to healing, his physical body including his genes were free to return to their natural healthy state so he could heal naturally.

Big changes are exciting. It’s an opportunity to learn an unknown 'us’ and grow.  Sometimes the universe gives us challenges and takes away things we have. That is a sign that a big change is coming.

But first we need to lose (let go of) something and empty our glasses so we can receive.  We both needed to lose our jobs. Paul needed to give up his health for a while in order for us to receive this big change.

I knew something was going to happen… that we were going to receive a big change so we could grow.  Where will this path lead and what will we learn? What different way are we going to shine at the end of this path? I was excited.

And as I said earlier, I love to share and give what we have.  And we knew that what we could share was so powerful. It would be such an honour to be a part of people's healing journey toward their dreams and goals.

The more we give, the more we receive. I was grateful for the difficulties we had because they brought us a new opportunity.

As we started to work with clients, we were simply amazed how results came. And how it was so much quicker and easier than what they had tried before. I was SO grateful for the opportunity to watch others shine!

My psychic journey wasn't easy.

One day not long after Paul healed, I woke up and found that I simply couldn’t function.  It was like I just shut down. It was empathic overwhelm and it came on so strong!

I found help from another Intuitive Empath and kind soul. With her help, I gradually learned to work with it. But every time I got better at handling it, the stronger the intuitive and empathic input became so I was still battling overwhelm!

But during readings, there were many times that my clients were in tears when they connected to loved ones on the other side. Others received confirmation, confidence, relief, belonging, love, and more.  They all enjoyed it and went home with relieved happy feelings… it was wonderful.

But what really surprised me was how I felt afterwards... I felt like I was myself again… no overwhelm!  And there it was… the universe was showing me again… giving is receiving. I was hooked. 

We don't pretend that we know everything.  We are just like you. We’re not special… we’ve had pain… we got lost… we struggled… and our journey doesn't end.  We keep learning and growing.

If you feel like you’re struggling… you’re in physical or emotional pain… or you’re about to give up.  If you feel the life you are living is not what you wanted… you have a dream but it's just a dream… you just want a little better life but don’t know how to get it… you don't want to just survive but thrive… then it's a sign that life has an opportunity waiting for you.  And seizing that opportunity might be easier than you think.
