Connect to Nature with a Forest Walk

It’s been a while since we last went for a forest walk to connect with nature.  It was a beautiful day (for a Jan 12!). So no question. I wanted to go for a little walk.  Ended up doing 2 hour hike. If we didn’t have to pick up a kid at a certain time, we would have gone longer.  😊 It is really a nice way for energy cleansing and recharging. I can feel, I can see, I can hear, I can smell, and I can be… me.   ❤️So grateful to have this beautiful nature around us. 🌳🌳🌳Find a green space around you and connect to Mother Nature. 💛💚  It doesn’t have to be a rain-forest, it can be a little herb garden on your porch, your neighborhood park, or even a farm field.  Plants just are… and they just give. When we reconnect and recharge so we can be a little like them. 🌳😊💚

A Cure for our Modern Busy Lives

Life is busy.  We get tired and when we get home it’s just easier to watch TV or go online.  But when we’re done watching, we’re just done. It might be flashy and we might be amused.  We don’t get energized and we don’t get what we need. But nature gives us energy, leaves us refreshed, and lifts our spirits.  Sure, it takes some effort to get out there and walk. But we are so rewarded and all those tensions from our day just fall away.Every time we go for a walk, there’s always something new to discover.  There were so many ways to connect with nature on this forest walk. There were so many types of soft moss hanging from the trees or making rolling soft beds on the ground.  🌳🌳🌳Even those little sage, oregano, or basil plants in our herb garden are just full of energy!  And they love to share it with us. So next time you’ve had a busy day and need to recharge, instead of grabbing the remote, just make some tea, sit with them on your porch, meditate, and soak them in  Or… head out and enjoy a forest walk! ❤️😊
