Quick & Easy Smile Meditation for Beginners

Today I'm going to share a meditation to help you feel better and happier and feel lighter in two minutes.

Quickly and easily increase energy

This always helps me. I really like it.  Today I just had an almost three hour drive in traffic and I feel exhausted.  So I can use this little exercise to release negativity and boost my energy.  So let's start!

How to do Smile Meditation

You can just sit or lay down just in a relaxed position.  Just breathe in deeply and out.  But when we breathe in, we're gonna make a big smile okay?  

Just make a big smile.  When you’re feeling tired, you feel some negativity and heaviness and it might be a little hard for you to smile.  That's okay.  We're gonna make a smile anyway.  

When you do that, you feel some resistance in your chest maybe.  And it's okay.  And then just let it bubble.  

I’ve got lots of flies here but that's okay.  Flies joining our meditation too 😊

And let it bubble.  And then you feel the bubbles filling your chest.  And you're gonna breathe out all the negativity, stress, heaviness and tiredness.  Just breathe it out.  Breathe it all out.  

And when you're done, you're gonna breathe in again and make a big smile.  And now it feels a little bit easier to make a smile.  

But you still feel a little resistance and heaviness here, that's okay.  Let it bubble.  I'm bubbling up.  If you still feel that resistance, that's okay.  Let it bubble.  And when your lungs are full of bubbles, breathe out.  And now you can see the negativity and stress flying away, away from you.  Push it out. 

And breathe in again.  And make an even bigger smile.

You can feel it's getting easier and easier and the resistance is getting smaller and smaller.  That's great but the resistance is still there.  So let it bubble.  And breathe out.  Push it all out.  

Let's try one more time.  Breathe in and make the biggest, biggest, biggest smile you can make.  

And let the last part of the negativity and stress bubble up.  You can feel a little left over.  Just let it bubble.  And breathe out.  Push it all out.  Say bye bye!  

Feels good!
