Guided meditation to create sacred space within
We all can use a little help to let go of our hard day, relax, and energize. So I'm sharing a guided meditation to create peaceful sacred space. Creating your sacred space, boosts your chi and helps you feel better when you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or drained.
Life can be hard so it’s important to connect to our peaceful sacred space within
This is an exercise to create your own peaceful space. Your sacred space within you.
Somewhere in you, your true self is always there. When you're busy every day at work or at home working for everybody else, that peaceful space within you can get squished into a tiny thing. And then that happens, your true self is gonna be squished. You don’t express your true self and then you get off balance. And then it can affect you emotionally and physically leaving you feeling tired and overwhelmed - even sometimes for no apparent reason.
So it's very important to maintain your peaceful sacred space and keep it open and feel it at all times.
Guided meditation to create your inner peaceful sacred space
So to start this meditation exercise, you can find a quiet space if possible. But if you can't find somewhere, you can even go into washroom and lock the door. Just somewhere you won’t be distracted. So let's just find a space and sit and if you like you can close your eyes. And then just breathe naturally and slowly. Then focus within your body and then search by feeling the aliveness within your body. Somewhere within you, there will be little space where it is strongest.
It might be very very tiny like a little rock but it is there, so just keep the focus within you.
Sometimes, when you are very overwhelmed or very very stressed, you might have a hard time finding that peaceful space. If that’s the case, then create one for now and then when you feel a little better, you will find it easier.
Now focus on that little tiny peaceful space. The more you focus, on the more you will you start to feel what that peaceful space is like. Feel your peaceful sacred space even if it's tiny. Feel the light. It might feel warm or it might feel a little cool. It might have a little some kind of color - pink, blue, yellow, green - there's no wrong answers. You feel what you feel and stay focused. The more you focus, the bigger it gets.
Now that the peaceful sacred space is getting bigger and bigger and the light is getting brighter and brighter, that color might change. It might get brighter, change pink to yellow or it could be a rainbow. Just enjoy that color. Enjoy the warmth, coolness or light. And just keep focusing on it so it keeps expanding and getting bigger and bigger. It was a tiny rock but now it's like a volleyball size. You feel more and more peaceful and you start to feel the power. Your sacred space is getting bigger and bigger now. You’re filling your whole body with your peaceful space. Keep focusing. Keep feeling that light in your sacred space. And now it's expanding beyond your body.
Now you're in a bubble of that sacred space. It is so peaceful you relax. There's no tension, no stress. And this is the true you! You’re free, happy, and powerful. You just breathe in and out slowly and enjoy this peaceful space.
Stay in your sacred space for a few moments if you like.
Practice to stay grounded, relaxed, and happier
So how was it?
Every time I do this it I feel grounded and I feel energized. This is a practice, so do this often - every day if at all possible. The more you do it, the better you get.
